SUSTAINABILITY

SUSTAINABILITY IS DEEPLY EMBEDDED IN THE KOIKOI ETHOS.

Creating a sustainable range and being actively involved in environmentally conscious initiatives is deeply embedded in the KOIKOI ethos.

We only use traditional Kenyan Kikoy fabric made by locals in Kenya, with the occasional linen and tencel used. All of our trims are also carefully sourced and selected to meet our strictest criteria.

KOIKOI CARES

FORMING PART OF OUR SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE, KOIKOI HOSTS MONTHLY BEACH CLEAN-UPS TO HELP KEEP THE BEAUTIFUL CAPE BEACHES IN PRISTINE CONDITION.

We have partnered with investment firms such as Northern Cross Investments, event companies and radio stations such as KFM to gather bigger crowds and make a bigger impact.

As part of our KOIKOI Cares strategy, we have partnered with The Amy Foundation, whose goal is to empower entrepreneurs from previously disadvantaged communities. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, as being entrepreneurs and doing things differently are characteristics built into the foundation of who we are at KOIKOI.

We assist by supplying them with our offcuts, helping students learn to sew items such as bandanas, stationary bags, and numerous other products. They then sell these for a profit through their own channels, as well as at our store.
